Wardrobe basics, the essential basics everybody needs in their wardrobe.
These basics are good quality items, that aren't necessarily super trendy at the moment, but will last you more then just one season.
Don't be afraid to spend a little more money on these items, since you will probably wear them quite often.

Okay, first basic is the little black dress.
It was Coco Chanel, who came with the first LBD in 1926. Her LBD was featured in American Vogue. Before Chanel's LBD black was for mourning and nuns.
One of the most famous examples of the LBD has to be Audrey Hepburn in "breakfast at tiffany's", where she wore a simple black dress.

A little black dress can be worn for really every occasion.
You can wear it to school, a job interview, family dinner or a party. You just dress it up or down as you want.

On a jeans, in a skirt, with a blazer, jacket. The options with a t shirt is endless.
Get some tees in black, white, gray and a nude colored one. Vary between long sleeves, short sleeves, v-necks or round necks.
In my opinion you can never have enough tees, one-colored ones and printed ones.

The next basic is the cardigan, this in my eyes great piece of clothing is great for every season.
In winter it is great to layer with and in summer it is just perfect to wear on those breezy summer days or nights.

Everybody should have at least one pair of jeans, that fits them perfectly.
I know the search for the perfect jeans isn't an easy one, but an good fitted jeans can be a lifesaver if you're in a hurry to go somewhere, just throw on your jeans with a shirt and blazer, some pumps and you're ready to go.

Probably as famous as the LBD is the leather jacket, I have two and I love them. They are incredibly handy for fall and spring. And they just give your outfit a boost. I know leather jackets are quite expensive but store's like H&M and Zara always have great imitation leather jackets, or you can wait for the sales and look to score a bargain.

The last basic, is the trench-coat, a classics.
First worn by soldiers in the war, now the trench-coat is something everybody should have.
The most famous trench-coats are the ones from Burberry.
A trench-coat is the perfect item to wear on top of your outfit to keep you dry, but still fashionable.
