INSPIRATION - rings

I love rings, despite the fact most rings bother me so much when I'm writing or typing. So most of the time I just wear rings until I have to write something down and then they disappear in my bag, where they are lost for several weeks.
But that doesn't stop me from buying rings like crazy.
Lately I've been really liking the midi-ring (even if I haven't found one that fit me; With my tiny finger, even some midi rings fit over my knuckles.
Weirdly enough while for other jewelry I like both silver and gold, for rings my preference goes out to gold.
What are your guys' thoughts on midi rings?You like them?
